The cabinet next to the dishwasher needed a small filler so the door wouldn’t hit the handle. It wasn’t difficult, but it’s the kind of detail you don’t think about until you’re actually installing everything.
The cabinets look really good now, but I won’t pretend the whole project was effortless. There were a few evenings where we were tired of looking at screws and boxes. Still happy with how it turned out.
We ordered a few sample doors before choosing the final finish, and that saved us from picking the wrong color. Seeing them in our kitchen at different times of day made a big difference.
The island end panel didn’t sit perfectly flush at first, and I honestly thought we had installed something wrong. We loosened it, adjusted it a little, and it looked fine after that.
The cabinet finish looks great overall, but under very bright morning light I can see a few tiny variations that I didn’t notice at first. Nothing that stands out during normal use.
